How do you respond to Stress?


Stress is a part of life. It is not always a bad part of life. Most of us enjoy a good part of stress like roller coasters, sports or even a scary movie. These kind of stress are good, as they keep us going and on our toes. 

However, negative stress or chronic stress which is even worse is what my blog is about this week. Negative stress is not just in our heads, it can affect us both mentally and physically. Stress hormones for extended period of time in the body can make us age fast physically. When we are stressed negatively, our cells look and act older, making us look and act older as it impacts our immune system. Not only does it add years to our physical appearance, it can also affect our memory, making our brain cells to shrink permanently. 

So, just remain calm in times of stress, see the problem in a different perspective and think of ways to deal with it to avoid the consequences of negative stress.
