Where Are You?

As the year 2018 draws to a close, it is a good time to reflect on our life and where exactly we are at this moment of life.

Living is a delightful and exhilarating process, the continuous evolution of our senses, of our consciousness, of our humanness, which only comes from being present in the moment, from being attentive to what’s going on. I have come to learn that God gives us all the gifts we need to succeed... you just need to take the time to look within yourself to find yours.

Quoting Debi Markland, one of my John Maxwell Team Executives,
“If you don’t go after what you want, you will never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always “no”. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place. I think each day presents an opportunity for us to be bold... to be someone we would not ordinarily be, to do something we would not ordinarily do and to have something we would not ordinarily have.”
If you are not where you want to be in your life, why are you taking things all so easy? Do not settle for less. Take the initiative and launch out with vigor.
Our life is nothing more than a distinct reflection of who we are. And who we are is usually the consequence of where we are, how we think and live our lives. If your thinking is sloppy, your life will be sloppy. If you are disorganized, your life will be disorganized. If your information about what needs to be done to move your life forward is limited, your life will reflect that limitation.

So if your life is to change from where you are, you must change first. If you are unwilling to change, life will never be capable of giving you what you want, to take you to where you would rather be.

So again, as the year draws to an end, it is time to reflect and answer the question, Where Are You?
