The most successful business are those that solve problems. People pay businesses for the problems they have a solution for. The purpose of business is not to make money, even though money is needed to sustain the business over time. The purpose of business is to give back to society by solving a problem. In return society pays the business by buying the solution it offers. The business then makes money. 

Bill Gates solved the problem of large immovable computers by coming up with Desktop computers. Burger King came up with Fast Food snacks and meals to solve the problem of people not having much time to eat before going to work or for lunch. Steve Jobs solved the problem of carrying a computer, a music player and a camera by coming up with iPad, iPhone etc that puts all in one gadget. Indofoods solved the problem of quick meals with Indomine Noodles while Aliko Dangote solved the problem of scarcity of cement and sugar by producing them locally. 

There are many untapped great business ideas in Nigeria yet to be birthed considering the series of problems in the country.
